Yoshi is the dinosaur we first met back when Nintendo released "Super Mario World", the launch title for the SNES. The Yoshis were imprisoned in eggs - Bowser had captured them, and Mario set out on a mission not only to rescue Princess Peach, but to free the Yoshis as well. Little did Mario know, the Yoshis had raised him as a child, because the stork delivering him was intercepted by the wicked Kamek, and he landed safely on Yoshi's Island. This is where the flash takes place (despite the rather strange backstory).
Other than that, the rest is pretty simple : the inhabitants of Yoshi's Island dance around to a techno song. I hope you enjoy it as much as they seem to be.

Rick. The ultimate cross between a Hippopotamus and some guy with a mohawk. He's a fun-loving creature who roams the land, on some sort of unknown adventure. He's followed by an anonymous British narrator with a high-tech camera. Rick doesn't seem to mind him very much. In fact, he loves showing off his excellent hair and that pink stub of a tongue. Look man, even I don't know what he's up to.

This is a collaboration of some of my most beloved videogame skits that I've created over the years. It contains excerpts from the following movies - "Mario and ADHD", "Dumbass Doom", "Dumbass Mario", "Kirby's Dreamland", It's Freakin' Mario", and "Super Mario Land I, II, III, and IV".
Some people have complained, regarding the lack of 'scene selectors' in my movies. Hopefully, this flick will make up for that, as it should contain a good number of your favorites.
Ranking was deciphered by researching the reviews these movies received on Newgrounds. The skits that appeared to be the most popular were taken note of, and then put into order according to my own opinions. So sit back and have some fun revisting my old films. Enjoy!

Well, Thanksgiving came around, and I couldn't help but notice how dull the holiday seems when compared to Christmas or Easter. Sure, you get to reunite with loving family members, but sometimes, you just feel like walking out into those scaryass woods and shootin' up some poultry.

Jet Force Gemini : Lone Soldier was my first major flash project. It was started back in the summer of 2004 and finished around February 2005. It's a fan-fiction animation of one of my faovrite N64 titles - Jet Force Gemini.
The general premise : a space marine is ordered to inspect an abandonned frigate. Little does he know, an entire colony of aliens has made the vessel their headquarters. Our hero, Sledge, soon learns of their plans to invade a nearby peaceful planet, and does everything he can to prevent disaster.

Mario this. Mario that. We hear a lot about the fat Italian plumber. However, we don't hear a lot about his timid brother, Luigi. Why Nintendo insists on keeping him in the shadows will always be a bit of a mystery to me.
This is why I decided to go ahead with "Dumbass Luigi". He's the man, and he deserves more. I enjoy rooting for the underdog, and I hope this movie will prove to some of you that Luigi is just as cool as Mario. I concentrated on the spritework in this movie. I wanted to make the animation as crisp and accurate as sprites would allow. It resulted in a longer work time, but it was definitely worth it. This flash could very well be my best example of spriting to date. And I mean, it's freakin' Luigi! I hope you guys enjoy.

Alternate Doom: Part 1

Brian Wilson:
Ever since I was a tot I played the game Doom for PC. It has always been fighting with Zelda as my favorite game series, and in the end, they tie. However, Doom is never going to be forgotten because of what it had done for the FPS game genre.
In this flash, I begin to retell the story of Doom with new characters, and this time there is more story than the origional. It is unlike Doom 3 which in my opinion didn't feel like a doom game. I called this flash creation, Alternate Doom.

Jeremy Simms:
This is the first (and somewhat forgotten) episode of the "Dumbass" videogame series. At first, I didn't expect this to evolve into a whole slew of parodies. I picked "Dumbass" Doom simply because it was catchy (and Brian heartfully approved). Well, and the characters are pretty stupid, I have to admit.
I have Brian to thank for reintroducing me to Doom in the first place. I had neglected it because of a subpar Gameboy Advance version I was playing, so I wondered how much better the PC could be. Turns out, the game handles so much better on the computer, and I was instantly hooked.
This thing took me about two weeks to create. As in my past flashes, I have utilized sound clips and soundtracks to enhance things a bit. We have stuff from The Titanic, original Doom songs, Dane Cook clips, and even a Steve Irwin cameo! So, I hope you find this melting pot of comedy to your liking. Enjoy.

Following in the footsteps of a movie I made earlier called, "Dumbass Doom", Dumbass Mario depicted the same idiotic style as it's predacessor. The movie is an almost perfect mix of the Super Mario Land series, Mario and ADHD, and It's Freakin' Mario, plus my own new styles and ideas.
Out of all my Mario films, this was the first to use Super Mario World and SMB3 sprites. It felt wrong without a parody of those games, since they were the most popular in the entire Mario franchise. The flash includes a minature music video and six or seven skits.

Yup, that's right. A parody of Kirby's first game ever (yes, before Kirby's Adventure for the NES). It's Kirby's Dreamland! That old Gameboy game we all used to have. Here's another black and white parody, similar to my Super Mario Lands. If you want to look at it as a sequel to SML, you're welcome to. The reason I say this is that there a bunch of similarities between them. First (and most obvious), they're both in black and white. Second, they are both ancient Gameboy games, and third, because the general style is quite similar in these movies.
The main difference between the two - Super Mario Land is composed of numerous skits/bloopers. Kirby's Dreamland is more of an adventure, set in the original backgrounds and foregrounds of the game. Those little enemies along with Kirby himself are all present here in their 1992 glory. Have fun watching this!

After seeing Jeremy's success with his Mario flashes, I was a bit intrigued by the power of sprite flashing. It seemed pretty fun to do, and since I love the Zelda games a lot, (my favorite is, naturally, Ocarina of Time), I started a series.
We all know the story, so I didn't want to completely rehash it. The series starts traditionally, but picks up over time and adds in new things.

This was just another one of those Mario flashes I made out of complete boredom. I had just gotten finished listening to one of my favorite comedians, Dane Cook. I decided to download some of his stuff and throw it into a movie using Mario sprites. Although on the short side, this thing packs a punch.
If you like Dane Cook, you'll love this, and if you've never heard of him, give it a shot anyway. Looking back, I guess I should have called it "Mario and Crack", to quiet some of the people who complained about it being offensive to those with ADHD. Just understand that this was not made to offend anyone.

Deep into the Long Island winter, I found myself quite depressed and lonely. The success of Super Mario Land IV had just about worn off, and I was prepared to embark on a new project. I was tired of the limitations that sprites brought about, so I went with the trusty paintbrush tool and had a go at it.
A character, which I finally named "Joe Ska" came into existance. Fueled by my depression, I sculpted Joe into a fun-loving individual on the brink of insanity. The actual flash is a music video for the Reel Big Fish song, "Sellout". It successfully carried me out of my sadness, and I hope it can cheer you up whenever you're in a bad mood, much like Brian's, "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life"

Jeremy Simms:
Here's how the series began. After RK Episode One, I felt a great need to spend some time on another comedy animation. I didn't feel like working on another Baby Mario, so I began a completely new series based on Super Mario Land for the Gameboy. I chose this Mario game over the others for two reasons.
One : the other Mario games, namely SMB1, 2, 3, and SMW, already had about a million parodies.
And two : because I dug it up after six or seven years of sitting in my closet.
It turned out that the game was just as enjoyable as I remembered. I played SML for a couple hours, and instantly, ideas began to pop into my head. Song titles, hilarious lines from movies, funny deaths, all of it began to swirl around in my mind. It was then and there that I decided to make a flash about it.
Originally, I didn't know how comedy based the film would be. I planned to mix in some action scenes - you can still see evidence of this at the beginning of SML I. However, this would take a lot of custom spriting and messy 8-bit decisions. So, I chose to go ahead and make it a full blown comedy movie.
Seemingly, I have made the right choice. From my view, the Super Mario Land series has been a big hit, and it really feels great to gain a substantial fan base over the past couple months. All in all, I just hope I can manage to make you guys laugh and remember the good days back in 1989.

My very first finished flash that wasn't a stick figure animation. After watching Life of Brian, I was pretty happy with the ending, and liked the song a lot, thus producing this music video.
I have updated it slightly - just fixed some of the sloppy drawings, and deformed heads I had in the old version. It is still the same flash.
