Welcome to the new and improved FAQ where I actually know what FAQ stands for! (I used to think it stood for "Facts, Answers, and Questions")

Q: When did it first start?
A: The domain name was purchased on December 7th of 2005.
Q: Who made it?
A: Two kids - one happening to know html and both being good at drawing
Q: What are your Newgrounds Aliases?
A: Orange and Bigfoot3290, hence Orangefoot
Q: How do you make a flash movie?
A: Well first, you'll need the software (go to Macromedia's website to learn more). Second, you'll need to learn how to use it. There are tons of tutorials on the internet, so please use it. Third, depending on whether you're making games or movies, you'll need to learn actionscript and learn to draw with a mouse. There are tons of tutorials for this on Flashkit
Q: What about Photoshop?
A: Photoshop is an image editing program. It is made by Adobe (Adobe). The old versions are quite easy to get via Ebay, or straight from the company.
Q: What if I want to be an affiliate?
A: If you want to be an affiliate of Orangefoot, send an application to brian@orangefoot.com. We won't accept freesites, or any generally very crappy sites. No stolen content either, and something pertaining to entertainment is a must.
Q:How many people look at this crappy site?
A: Theres a tiny little box under our Affiliates, under the navigation bar on the front page. It has all of our statistics.
Q: Who are those two monsters on the flash banner on this page?
A: They are the Cyberdemon and Spider Mastermind from the Doom series. Olddoom.com has a ton of doom stuff.
Q: What a sprites?
A: Sprites are basically images from video games. Sprites are almost always compiled of oversized pixels, giving them a blocky appearance. The Cyberdemon in the .swf on the top of this page is a sprite, for example.
Q: How do you make those sprite movies?
A: To make a sprite movie, get any kind of sprite and sequence them in movieclips in Flash. For more information on how to make a movieclip in flash, consult a flash tutorial site
Q: How do you get the sprites from a game?
A: Spriter's Resource is a superb site for sprites, so is Panel Monkey, so is The Shyguy Kingdom, and so is Mario Fan Game Galaxy. By NO MEANS are these all the sprite sites out there - there are TONS more. If you have a sprite site you want me to add to this list, please email me.
